I was there at the dawn of the new age of TV Sci-Fi. When the pilot of Babylon 5 ran in February of 1993 I was an avid Start Trek fan. DS9 had just begun and TNG was in its golden age. Author JMS has since redefined my view of Sci-Fi by his story telling methods. Now in it's fifth and final seasons, Babylon 5 is the best thing on TV IMO.
I have been a fan of the Band Drivin'-n'-Cryin' since my college years. You can find out more about them on their Offical Web Site. This picture, from the Scarred but Smarter CD (1986), was a gift from Rich (see below) and has the siginatures of the band. If you haven't heard, they released their seventh album this fall self entitled. My personal review: The band has returned to the sound that made me like them in the first place. This album is much better that the past two; it is worth parting with a few bucks.

Speaking of Music, two friends of mine (former Tiger Band Trombones) have albums out now. Clator Butler has his own page where you can find out how to get a copy of A Critical State of affiars. Rich Challen's Life/Death can also be found on the web with ordering info. Being good friends of each I'll reframe from comparing them, but both have their merits and I enjoy each. Both recordings are first class in quality and I encourage all to support both of these endevors. Each is really a diffrent style, and it seems odd that when at Clemson both played in the same band, the now defunct Anagram.
